ARCTIC-FLOW is a project funded by the European Space Agency, under the contract nº. 4000146124/24/I-K. The funding of the activity coms from the ESA FutureEO program – Segment 2 (E/E115-F2 – FutEO Seg 2 Bl 4 -F2). The project is a Research Opportunity within the ESA-EC Polar Science Cluster.

Zenithal Blue Technologies S.L.U., an SME based in Barcelona (Spain) is the Prime Contractor of the activity. The company is a specialised R&D organisation that delivers research and technology in the area of Earth Observation and Tellecommunications. For this contract, an international consortium was composed including Instytut Oceanologii Polskiej Akademii Nauk (IOPAN, Poland), Instituto de Ciencias del Mar – Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (ICM-CSIC, Spain), Ocean Atmosphere Systems GmbH (OASys, Germany), and Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS, Denmark).
